Summer in Italy = nonstop eating for a month. Back in my family’s hometown, Treviso, a beer and burger pub called Helmut proves that italians actually do everything better.
Burgers were perfectly done, and the fries put to shame every single french fry around the globe. I had the Crispy Hamburger, with cinnamon ricotta, crispy bacon, mayo-mustard sauce, and caramelized onions; and my cousin had a caprese hamburger with freshly sliced prosciutto San Daniele. My cousin accompanied his dinner with a one-of-a-kind crafted beer while I enjoyed a glass of authentic prosecco.
