In the heart of what is known as “the pearl of the province of Treviso”, Asolo, lies the restaurant that gave me one of the most unforgettable meals of my life, the restaurant La Terrazza in the Albergo Al Sole.
Venezuelan chef Ricardo Manzanilla sure knows how to put his touch in every single one of his dishes. The original appetizer of tostones topped with baccala mantecato combined latin flavors and ingredients with classic italian cooking. The entreés included tagliatelle with shrimp and gnocchi with lamb ragu. The dessert was definitely one-of-a-kind, an “arroz con leche” with a delightful european touch.
