“Put ‘eat chocolate’ at the top of your list of things to do today. That way, at least you’ll get one thing done.”
This was basically the motto that defined my life this week in Toronto, and there’s no better place to eat chocolate in this city than Cacao 70. Located in the place that gave me infinite reasons to go back to Toronto, the Distillery District, Cacao 70 is a charming, modern cafe with an incredible variety of sweets in the menu that makes it hard to pick just one.
We shared a chocolate marshmallow pizza that was amazing, and ordered the grilled marshmallows, which is like your own gourmet s’mores station. Last but definitely not least, we shared a Nutella ricotta pizza that was so good I didn’t even get a chance to take a picture. Service was a little bit slow (probably because it was the first weekend the Christmas Market was open and the whole place was packed), and I wasn’t as intrigued by the salty menu, but definitely a must for dessert in Toronto!
I’m finally back home, a little nostalgic, and with a serious chocolate overdose (if that’s even possible), hoping to go back to this gorgeous city soon to find new places and try new things.
